Dawn and Genesis 2 Female side-by-side

Here's a quick side-by-side of DAZ's Genesis 2 Female (G2F) and Hivewire's Dawn, as I see them as being the contemporary figures to compare rather than V4. I'd actually tried a quick tighten-up of Dawn's butt and forgot to zero it before rendering - apart from that, both figures are the default shapes

First impression of Dawn... well, nothing too special to be honest if you're already using G2F. But if you still use V4 instead of Genesis 2 and/or don't want to use the DSON Importer if you use Poser, then Dawn is worthy of consideration. It's certainly the best non-DAZ figure that seems to have decent vendor support.

That said, as a DAZ Studio user myself (I don't have Poser installed), I'm struggling to see myself use Dawn for anything other than a little casual tinkering... but make her blonde and she suddenly looks very much like someone I knew 15-20 years ago called Laura, so she might get taken off the shelf and giving a good dusting from time to time
